Navigating the idea of hospice was very difficult, especially when the hospital urged us to select a company. We did our due diligence and interviewed several organizations on the island. Ultimately, we decided to go with Mālama Ola based on their quick response, willingness to answer questions before signing anything, and unique approach to hospice care. Our main point of contact was Marchè. She was highly responsive, encouraging, and such a pleasure to work with, considering the reality that we were living in. She followed up with individuals on the team and communicated with our family throughout the process.

The one concern I had beforehand was feeling like a "number on a roster." I can honestly say that it didn't seem that way as my concerns and questions were addressed appropriately and in a timely manner. Thank you, Mālama Ola, for your support and kindness.

I felt really lost throughout the death and dying process with my mom. Every member of Mālama Ola's staff I worked with were kind, caring, and patient, and helped to guide our family through the final days. They will be my first call if I ever have to go through this again, and I hope they can help you, too.
